Still in shock at how well the "trial transfer" went on Tuesday. Absolute bloody shock. I couldn't feel a THING. Literally. It was....less than a pap. And paps don't even bother me. So....yeah..... Crazy. I'd love to know why this trial transfer went so smoothly and the other one was so horrid. Better doctor? My cervix is all stretched out from the twin miscarriage? (I was basically in labour for hours/days with that as I had a "natural" miscarriage at home) I wish I knew, but I'm so relieved that I can look forward to a smooth transfer now.
I'm actually really looking forward to the actual transfer now, which is kind of nice. That's a first for me.
Oh, but the Perc.ocet made me throw up. That was kind of funny. We had to pull over on Deer.foot Trail (a huge, major freeway here) so I could throw up on the side of the road. Kind of funny, actually. That's the first time I've ever had that happen to me. That's now the second time I've thrown up in one week. (I was horribly ill with some kind of flu while we were on vacation last week) Prior to that? I hadn't thrown up in over six years since I had an allergic reaction to cooked salmon. I didn't even throw up when I was pregnant. So, hopefully all the vomiting is out of my system now!
I think I'll just take a couple of at.ivan so I'm very chill for the transfer, but no Perc.ocet. And obviously I don't really need it anyway.
Other good news:
I just tried on a little black dress that I haven't worn in over six years (since before I was married). It FITS and looks awesome! So excited, as now I have another dress I can take to Vegas with me! SWEET!!
Also, a very expensive dress that I got for $10 bucks several weeks ago that I didn't try on it, also fits perfectly, which is also pretty awesome.
Seriously, if anyone wants to become healthier or lose a bit of weight easily, just stop eating meat! Wow, it's crazy how easy it is to lose weight when you stop eating animals. My husband dropped over 25 pounds when he stopped eating meat, and he wasn't overweight to begin with! But he looks even better now, and is feeling so much healthier. I don't know how much weight I've lost since I don't weigh myself, but quite a bit, I'd imagine....at least 20 pounds I'd guess? Most of clothes don't fit, so I have bought some new ones, or dug out my clothes from when I was a "normal" size. (my thyroid issues over the last few years haven't helped at all with my weight, either.) Also, the Wii Fit informs me that my BMI is in the "normal range", ha! lol
The other good news is that I leave for Vegas this Friday! I'm going with a girlfriend (the one I mentioned in my other blog post, the only friend in this city that knows about the upcoming FET), and we're not bring any husbands. So, girls only trip! It will be fun. We don't come back until Tuesday night.
I have so much to do before going though. I have to work tomorrow, but I have a lot of business stuff upcoming for my jewelry, as well. I have a couple of wholesale orders to deal with soon, plus I'll be doing an art market out in Priddis in July. Oh yeah, and we are doing the FET probably the first week of July, I'd imagine. You know, because I'm crazy, and I can never just do ONE thing at a time, right?!
So, what's up with everyone else? Anyone have any crazy Perc.ocet or At.ivan stories to share? (The thing about throwing up on the side of the road from Perc.ocet when you already have taken At.ivan means you just don't care, which is kind of awesomely hilarious!)
P.S. I have to take the Lu.pron with me to Vegas -- does anyone know how long Lu.pron can go unrefrigerated? I'll probably have to take a small cooler or something with me, hey? That will suck....
